Life on the wild side

I am73 years young and realizing that I am not getting any younger has been a real hard place for me. If you are not getting younger, you are getting older. I truly try to never let these words come out of my mouth.
I have raised 10 kids and received my master’s degree in 2010. All while moving to 5 different states and working full time. To say I have been busy is the understatement of my life. Now here I am laughing every time I hear someone who feels that retirement is going to be one big vacation. May God bless them and be with them as they begin to realize that just may not the case.
Luckily, I was raised in a wonderful Christian home and knew that God was with me thru it all. Every step of the way I can look back now over the years and knowing that I have a choice to me miserable or joyful is a blessing for me. I have so many blessings in my life, and I am thankful for everything I do have. I tell God every day I am thankful; for what I have, don’t have and I am thankful for thing I wish I could have.
These past few months I have signed up for the Power Academy and listening to all that Ashly and Carlie have to teach is a true blessing. I find it much easier to pray for people and share my life with others. I really feel that God is leading me into a healing ministry. I can hardly wait to see what the future holds for me.
