Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Have you ever wondered why sometimes the promises of God seem to take ages to manifest in our life? Well, I have too. So stay tuned to find out.
Narrator: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Why live a normal life when you could be living the Abundant Life. Welcome to the Abundant Life program with Ashley and Carlie Terradez.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Hello and welcome to Abundant Life. We’re so glad you’ve joined us today. My name is Ashley Terradez, and this is my wife Carlie. And we’re excited, because we got a great program for you today. And this is going to be talking about how to see the manifestation of God’s promises in our life. You know, we believe the word of God, we believe the promises of God, but sometimes it seems like there’s a process to see those promises manifest in our life. And that’s what we’re covering during this series. Praise God, that’s what we’ve been covering. So where are we up to Carlie?
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
So we’ve been talking about a lot of different things up unto this point. So if you haven’t been watching the previous shows, you need to go back and watch those because then it’ll make more sense to you. But we’ve been talking about this process of confession, creation and manifestation. Now sometimes it seems like the word of God, we speak it out, but it just seems to take forever for that promise to manifest in our life. That’s frustrating, isn’t it?
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
It really, really is.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Have you ever wondered why that is? Why is it that sometimes you’ll speak the word and it just seems like it happens, right? And other times it’s, there’s a journey.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
It takes time is … Now I heard some people teach that it’s God’s timing and he’s holding out on you and he’ll give it to you when he’s ready. But we don’t believe that. We believe God’s always ready. We believe the promise of God are yes and amen. We believe God’s best for you is to walk in perfect health, to walk in provision, to walk in peace, praise God, to walk in his righteousness. So it’s not God holding out on us. But there is sometimes a process to see these things from the believing to the receiving.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Right. Now one thing that we can be sure of is the minute we speak the word, there is something happening. Our words contain power. And immediately those words leave our mouth they go to creating something in whatever we’ve purposed to send them. And that creation phase is usually invisible. We last time we talked about the example of the fig tree. When Jesus cursed the fig tree, in one account it says there was a period of time before they saw that fig tree wither up and die. And other accounts it says it was immediate.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Well, both accounts were true because immediately the words left his mouth, they went into the creation phase and that fig tree was being acted upon by those words, beneath the soil in the roots, and people couldn’t see the word of God working, but it was still working.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And so there was a little period of time, maybe a day before they saw the manifestation of that word in the natural. We last we talked about Hebrews 6:12 that says, “By faith and patience, we inherit the promises.” And we talked about how patience is not just, “Oh, I’m just enduring. I’m just trying to get through. I’m just counting down the days for my healing or whatever it is to manifest.” Because I hate that phrase. It’s so overused, right?
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Right, right.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
But it’s true-
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
But waiting for [inaudible 00:02:55] to manifest.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
… our waiting. You know, there’s no guarantee in that, is there? And the way that people wait often time it’s like, “Well, maybe I’ll be healed. Maybe I won’t be healed. Maybe it’ll work out. Maybe it won’t work out.”
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Que sera, sera. I’m just going to wait and see. Just going to wait and see.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
But in that scripture, it says, “By faith and patience, we inherit the promises.” There’s no wavering there. There’s not like, “Maybe you’re going to have an inheritance, maybe you’re not.” No, by faith and patience. You know, the very essence of faith is to be sure of the things we hope for and certain of their reality as fact that things that are not revealed to the senses. This comes from Hebrews 11 verse one.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Faith has evidence. It has a guarantee. It says, “By faith and patience we inherit the promises.” What does that even mean? But by faith meaning, we have a guarantee. We have a guarantee. We can take it to the bank. We know it’s ours, but patience, the real definition of patience, that is a cheerful or a hopeful endurance. Not only do we know it’s ours, but we all were looking for it with a cheerful expectancy.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
We are celebrating, we are giving Thanksgiving because we know it’s ours. Last time I talked about just being a child or remembering what it was like to know that your birthday was coming. And to look forward to that birthday with such anticipation and excitement to know, there’s no doubt. You know, I remember having a Christmas tree in our house and it would be the days leading up to Christmas, watching the presents.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Oh yeah.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
I think we must have gotten a bit older. We kind of gotten past that father Christmas and all that-
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Never father Christmas.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
… Because they put the presents under the tree. And so as the days got closer to Christmas, this mountain of presence grew and grew.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Bigger and bigger, of course it’s different nowadays because everyone sends us their presents via Amazon.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
So they’re all in brown boxes and [crosstalk 00:04:45] for.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
So we get these Amazon parcel, we don’t know who they’re for or who they’re from. Literally we have parcels from-
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Like even this one.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
… family members, we don’t know who they’re for or who they’re from. But in them days we have to put it under the tree. And the presents used to grow and grow and grow.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Yeah. And you know, there was never a moment as a child that I looked at those presents and wondered whether one of them was going to be for me. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, some of them had my name on them.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
So they’re yours. They are yours. That’s it. So there’s no-
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
They are absolutely mine.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
… so there’s no, “Oh I hope one of these presents is for me.”
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
None of that, right?
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Right.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And so, I mean it was hard being patient as a child, right? But I was looking forward with cheerful endurance because I was excited. I was giving thanks. I could not wait. There was an excitement, not a desperation-
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
That’s good.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
… on the inside of us. And you know, when we really are standing in faith and patience, patience will hold us in that place of cheerful, of endurance and expectation. Because we … It’s not a question as to whether the healing power of God is ours. It’s not a question to whether the provision is ours. We already have it. We can be excited before we even see it.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Amen.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And that’s quite a difference, isn’t it?
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Amen, it really is. And when we start doing that, we start giving thanks. Now Jesus put it this way, said, “When you pray, believe and you have received,” past tense. And when we act like this, when we start believing that we’ve already received it, because the truth is we have. Just because we can’t see it in the natural doesn’t mean it’s not ours. The promises of God are ours. When you get born again you got all the promises of God, praise God in the spirit realm. You’ve got your righteousness, you’ve got your healing, you’ve got your provision. It’s all there on the inside. The question is seeing it from the spirit realm, from the kingdom to the natural realm, to your everyday life if you like. To your natural circumstances.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
That’s the difference, but they’re already yours. So start giving thanks to God for receiving your promises, start giving thanks to God for receiving what you believe in for. Start planning what it’s going to be like when you’re healed. Start planning was going to be like to be out of debt. Start planning what it’s going to be like to get over this problem you’ve got, whatever it is. Stop planning and start getting ready to receive.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And start dreaming about it.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Amen.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
You know, Matthew 9:29 says, “According to your faith let it be on to you.” We know that faith is how we access the promises of God, the grace is already provided for us. We know that by faith and patience we inherit the promises, but it says, “According to your faith let it be on to you.” In other words, we receive the manifestation of the promises of God in our life according to how we imagine they going to play out.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And sometimes I think we can limit God in our own mindset, in our own thinking. You know, especially I talk about healing a lot because that’s my passion, okay. But you know, I meet people, and sometimes they just believe that when I pray for them they’re going to get a little bit better every day. And that is how they receive their healing.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
Now is it God’s will for them to be enduring longer and be suffering with cancer or diabetes or whatever sickness it is for few more weeks, a few more months. No, absolutely not. God’s will for us is to be instantly healed. He said in his word, “And healed us.” Amen. But so God’s will doesn’t always come to pass. We have a part to play in god’s will coming to pass, right?
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And God’s will can only operate in us and through us according to how we receive it. According to your faith, Matthew 9:29. According to your faith, let it be done unto you. We receive from God according to how we believe it’s going to happen. So if we are believing that we are going to get a little bit better every day, that’s what we give God to work with. And so he meets us where our point of faith is at.
Ashley: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
And that’s fine. If that’s how you receive your healing, that’s fine.
Carlie: Manifesting Miracles Part 6
That’s fine.
Ashley:
You know God wants you well ultimately.
Carlie:
Praise God.
Ashley:
God wants you well, so that’s absolutely fine. But you know, we want to get our hearts in a place where we can receive everything God has for us.
Carlie:
Amen. Instantaneously. I think that’s his best.
Ashley:
That’s what Jesus did. We talked about this in a previous program, but when Jesus was on earth, he healed everyone right then and there. No one had to wait days or weeks to be healed. He healed them then and there, instantaneous. And I believe that’s still God’s will. In fact, Jesus said to Philip, “If you’ve seen me, Philip, you’ve seen the father.” And basically Jesus on earth was the perfect representation of God the father. So God’s will is the same today. He wants everyone healed right away. He doesn’t want anyone to be sick in the first place. So that’s God’s best for us. And we can believe God for his best.
Ashley:
And sometimes you know, when people are waiting to see their promises come about, they can get discouraged and they came through like, “Well, maybe it does not work.” And that’s where we talked about digging up the seed, right? If you start saying, “Well, this faith stuff doesn’t work, or I’ve tried this, it doesn’t work.” That was digging up your seed. That’s like a farmer putting a seed in the ground and every day come in and pulling that seed out and take a look at it. So has it grown? It doesn’t look like it’s grown yet and putting it back again. What’s going to happen? He’s going to kill the seed. The seed is not going to work.
Ashley:
And that’s what Jesus said. You know, the farmer, he plants his seed. He rises night and day. He doesn’t know or understand how it works, but he knows it works. And then there’s a crop. And that’s how we need to be. We need to take the word of God. We need to plant it in our hearts. We need to sow the word of God. We don’t have to understand exactly how it works, but we know it works. Do it by faith and we’ll see the harvest. Amen.
Carlie:
Amen. Amen. But this is in Hebrews again. This is in Hebrews four verse 14 and onwards. It says, “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus, the son of God. Let us hold firmly to our confession.” Now we’ve already mentioned this, but the word confession and profession are used interchangeably and they mean to say the same as. So we need to be in the waiting. I really hate this phrase, but people understand what I mean by the waiting, the time between the moment that the promise leaves our mouth and the moment that we see it manifest in our five senses, in our natural world. In that period of waiting in between, we can hold firm to our confession. We need to be saying the same about our situation that Jesus is saying about our situation.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
We need to be confessing the word of God and this will really help things come to pass. Versus, “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but one who is in every sense tempted like we are and yet without sin.” In other words, Jesus can understand. He understands. He was tempted in many different ways. He understands what it is like to endure. He understands what it’s like to feel pain. He understands what it’s like to be cold and lonely and afraid and without. He understands all those things.
Carlie:
But yet we can … If we hold firm to our confession, if we look at our natural circumstances and start to say the same about those circumstances that God says about our circumstances, look what happens next. It says, “And let us then come with confidence to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” So even though we might be looking at our situation and feeling frustrated and feeling weary and feeling discouraged and despondent. When we decide to let our profession, our confession be the same, say the same as what Jesus is saying about our situation, what happens is we find grace and help in time of need. You know, Jude talks about it as, “When we pray in tongues, we build ourselves up in our most Holy faith.”
Ashley:
Yeah. Jude 1:20 and 21, yep.
Carlie:
Right. When we keep our mind state upon the Lord. We are kept in peace and grace and mercy and we find ourselves becoming encouraged. We find strength in our time of need rather than weariness and discouragement. And so I just encourage you, if you’re finding yourselves becoming weary in the waiting, okay? Understand these things, that God is not the one deciding how long this waiting is going to be. This is really important. His will for you is to receive the promises. Absolutely right now in this minute. But sometimes, usually from the condition of our hearts, how deep a capacity we have to receive according to our faith, let it be unto us. Maybe our thinking, whatever is going on on the inside of us. Sometimes our unbelief. Just living in a natural world, you’re dealing with natural unbelief. There’s lots of … Fear can be a huge one.
Carlie:
There can be lots of reasons why the promises of God seem to be taking a while to manifest in our life, but there’s a few things that we can be absolutely sure of. God is not the one holding out on us. Amen. He is a good God and his will is for us to receive everything that he has now. He doesn’t want us to spend another night with the frogs. Right? That’s what happens when Moses live with the children of Egypt from the plagues, right?
Ashley:
Right.
Carlie:
And also that there is a working, there is something going on. There is a supernatural activity happening in areas where you can’t see right now. There is a battle going on and it’s the Lord’s.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
Amen. There is a working of supernatural powers behind the scenes in areas where you cannot see and you can be assured of that. And when we hold foster our confession, when we cling to it with faith and patience, we’re going to win if we don’t quit.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
We are going to win. That’s our guarantee. And we’ll find help from Jesus in times of need.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
We can see this, and actually this is in a Luke 8:15. Could you find that for me?
Ashley:
Luke 8:15. I’m also thinking of the fight and the good fight. This is the fight and the good fight of faith right here. So this is Luke 8:18. Luke 8:18 says-
Carlie:
15.
Ashley:
Oh, Luke 8:15 says, Luke 8:15-
Carlie:
This is the parable of the sower. So there’s four types of ground-
Ashley:
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Carlie:
… leading up to this.
Ashley:
Yeah, so the parable of the sower is, this is a very important parable. In fact, Jesus says, “If you don’t understand this parable, how would you understand the rest of the parables.” This is like a key parable to understand the rest of the parables. And basically the parable of the sower, real quickly, there’s four types of ground. It says, “The farmer sows the seed, or the sower sows the seed.” We know that the seed being sown here is the word of God.
Carlie:
That’s like the word that we confess from our mouth.
Ashley:
Yeah, it’s the word we confess from our mouth. It’s incorruptible, it’s the word of God. It’s going out in that seeds. And then the sower is God. The people that receive in the seed, they are the ground. The four types of ground, they’re the people that receive in the seed, that’s heart conditions if you like. That’s the only variable. Our heart condition. That’s the variable.
Ashley:
And there’s four types of ground. The first type, there is no way for the seed to infiltrate. There’s nowhere for the seed to grow or to sprout. It just lays on top because the heart is so hard that the seed can’t penetrate, and the birds come and just take the word away instantly. So that’s basically like a person that can’t receive the word and the devil can just steal it.
Ashley:
The second type of ground is those that receive the word and it grows up with great joy. It grows out with excitement, but there’s no root. They haven’t taken the time to renew their mind. They haven’t taken their time to root themselves in the word of God.
Ashley:
And the first sign of problems is the heat of the day comes and because they have no root, they wither, and the word doesn’t produce fruit in their life. The third type of ground I believe is where the majority of the body of Christ live in. Unfortunately, that third type of ground is where the seed goes in, it grows up and it grow, but there’s thorns and tears with that crops. So there’s thorns growing up with the crop. And it chokes the crop and it makes it unfruitful.
Ashley:
And that’s what happens. Again, as you choke the crop. And the third type of ground is the ground where it goes in, it’s great ground, it goes in and it produces a harvest 30, 60 or a 100 fold harvest. So the third type of ground, there’s things that actually choke the word of God and stop it being fruitful.
Carlie:
And when we see a manifestation of God’s promises in our life, you know that healing or provision, salvation, whatever it is. A manifestation of God’s promise in our life. It’s the fruit of the seed of the word of God that was planted in us. It’s that seed, that word of God bearing fruit. That’s what we would call a manifestation. Manifestation is simply something that was birthed in the spiritual world. The point at which it enters our physical world and we can experience it with our five senses. That is what a manifestation of God’s promises is.
Carlie:
But I like this passage. If we could just back up here into verse 11. It says, “Now this parable means the seed is the word of God. Those along the path are those who hear. Then comes the devil who takes away the word from their hearts less they should believe it and be saved.”
Carlie:
That word saved is actually the original word Sozo, and that means be healed, to be made whole, to deliver, to save, to rescue, to save from sin. There’s a lot more than just our eternal salvation in here. This is our healing. This is our wholeness. This is our deliverance. This is everything. But look, it’s the devil that comes to steal the word, lest we believe and receive everything that God has for us.
Ashley:
Yep
Carlie:
This is powerful. You see, when the enemy comes to us oftentimes is in that period of waiting. It’s in that period of creation when the word has been spoken for from our lips. Where we’ve confess the word of God, but it’s in the creation, in the part of the process that we don’t see before we see the manifestation. The enemy comes to steal the creation from you.
Carlie:
He’s coming to steal the word from you so that it never manifest in your life. And you know, there’s only one person that can plant the word of God in our hearts. And that’s us. And if we want to see the manifest fruit of the seed of the word of God and not have the enemy steal it from us, how does he steal the word of God from us? Well, he steals it with the deceitfulness of riches, the luster of the things, the cares of this world, pain, tribulation, fear. Anything he can to get our mind focused on what’s going on in the natural or the lack of what’s going on in the natural.
Carlie:
He’ll use those things as distraction, because he’s coming, it’s not personal. He’s indiscriminate by the way. He’s coming to steal the word of God from bearing fruit in your heart because he knows that if it stays there and you believe it, you’re going to receive a manifestation of it.
Ashley:
Yep.
Carlie:
And there’s nothing he can do to stop the manifestation happening. He’s just trying to get you distracted, right?
Ashley:
That’s good. So the word sown, so it’s in this parable, the word spoken out, the word is sown and then there’s that period of time where the word is germinating. And it’s going to … And then there’s a crop at the end. So it’s in that time between that first, second and third type of ground, the devil is trying to get in and stop the word of God producing fruit, 30, 60 and a 100 fold.
Carlie:
Yeah. Because what does seeds do?
Ashley:
They grow.
Carlie:
They grow, the seed is going to grow wherever it’s planted. We had a seed one time and it got corrupt-
Ashley:
Oh, in the-
Carlie:
… it was an acorn seed.
Ashley:
In the dryer?
Carlie:
Yeah, it got caught up in one of our kids’ dungarees or something, and it went through the washing machine at like 40 degrees. And then it went through the dryer and it must’ve got lodged in the dryer. And this was like, it must’ve been there about six months because it was springtime and we kind of collected the acorns in the fall. So it’s probably been stuck in the dry for about six months. And the only reason we found it was because the dryer quit working.
Ashley:
Right.
Carlie:
The tumble dryer quit working.
Ashley:
I took the back of the dryer off and there was all that lint back there and stuff that you can’t get to. And there was this acorn that sprouted. It was in the lint. It was perfect conditions. It was damp and it was warm and it sprouted. And this thing started growing-
Carlie:
Started growing a tree in our dryer.
Ashley:
Growing a tree in our dryer. I mean it grown a decent size, sprouted in our dryer. So the seed is going to produce.
Carlie:
There’s life in the seed.
Ashley:
The word of God, there’s life in the seed. The word of God is going to produce if we leave it there and we don’t dig it up and try and work it out, and we don’t let the enemy get in through fear and distractions and cares of this world and things like that. The word of God is going to produce in our life, praise God.
Carlie:
Amen. We will see a manifestation. We will see a fruition of the planted word of God if we cling to it. And look what it says in verse 15. This is Luke eight verse 15. This is the fourth type of ground that are actually just mentioned. It says, “But the seed on the good ground are those who haven’t heard the word of God.” He says, “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17, “Keep it in an honest and good heart and it bears fruit with patience, with that hopeful endurance.” In other words, if we take that word of God and plant it in our hearts. The word keep there, it actually means to cling to the word, to hold fast to it, to seize the word, to retain it in our hearts when trouble comes and to possess the truth.
Ashley:
That’s good.
Carlie:
That’s what it means. If we take this word of God and we plant it in our hearts. We cling to it. We place this word of God, this truth of what God said in his spoken promise above every other report that we hear. Above the doctor’s report, above the bank account, above our neighbors and our family and friends if need be. But if we cling onto the promise of the word of God, what we’re doing is we have planted it in our hearts. And it will bear fruit if we hold onto it with faith and patience. In other words, hold onto this word of God, whether achieve or with an expectant heart. We’re looking forward to it with expectancy.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
Man, we can take the word of God at face value and plant it in our heart. Plant it in our families.
Ashley:
Yeah. Amen.
Carlie:
Speak it to our children and it will make us prosperous wherever we go.
Ashley:
Amen. Now here’s the thing. This has got nothing to do with how God sees you.
Carlie:
That’s right.
Ashley:
God loves you. He’s crazy about you. He’s done everything for you. So this isn’t about how God sees you, but this is about how you are going to be able to see God. About how you’re going to be able to receive from God. And I’m telling you, when you do this, this is going to take a little bit of work on your part. And people say, “Well Ashley-
Carlie:
It’s effort.
Ashley:
… we’re under grace. You can’t be telling us what to do. We don’t do anything.” No, there is a little bit of effort when it comes to receiving something, receiving a gift. I look at it like this. The gift is ours, but we have to unwrap it. And if I gave my kids a gift and they moaned about unwrapping it, you know, “Dad bought me a MacBook-
Carlie:
Such hard work getting the paper off.
Ashley:
… taking the wrapping paper was such hard work. He made me work for it. No, it’s not work. It’s just our part, our part by faith in receiving what grace has already provided. And that means getting in the word. That means planting these promises in our heart. You can watch good teachings. Nowadays there’s no excuse with the internet. You know, we grew up before the internet, but the internet now-
Carlie:
That really freaks our kids out.
Ashley:
… we’re really old.
Carlie:
We tell them we’re older than the internet.
Ashley:
We are older than the internet. But nowadays with the internet, you can go on YouTube and things and find great teachings. You know, we have our own channel on there. Check our channel out. But there’s other great teachings, other great ministries out there, and you can feed yourself. You can go to the word of God directly, which I’d encourage you all to do.
Ashley:
Go to the word of God directly and feed yourself in the word. It’s going to mean changing some of your habits. I personally have changed some of my habits. You know, rather than spending half an hour a day doing something that’s useless, like watching a … Whatever, there’s nothing wrong. It’s not sin to watch a program on Netflix or something or [inaudible 00:23:08] or play a game on the thing. That’s not a sin, but it’s distracting you from the word of God.
Ashley:
And if you really want the word of God to produce in your life, we need to get to the point where we place the highest value on the word of God more than anything else. And we put our relationship with God first more than anything else. And it’s not a legalistic thing, or a law thing, it’s about priorities. And when we prioritize the word of God, prioritize our relationship with God, it’s amazing how we see the promises of God come to pass in their life. Easier than when we don’t.
Ashley:
And some people, what they do is, is they wait for a crisis. They wait for a challenge and then they get the word of God out. Say, “I need help now.” That’s like a man being robbed, and a robber comes into his house, and while the robber’s in his house he gets the weights out and starts weightlifting.
Carlie:
I got to work out now.
Ashley:
I better get myself strong-
Carlie:
I got to get buffed.
Ashley:
… so I can fight this intruder. Now you want to work out first and then when the intruder comes, you’re ready for him. And that’s where we need to be. We need to be in the word of God. In the times of peace we need to prepare for war. And get in the word of God. And the great thing is it’s a done deal. The fight’s already been won. The game is rigged. All you’ve got to do is show up, praise God. So when we get in the word of God, planting those promises in our hearts, praise God. Mix it with faith. It’s amazing how we’ll see those promises manifest in our life. And we’ll see the promise of God come to pass.
Carlie:
Amen. That’s powerful. And you know, this word will work for anyone. You know what we’re teaching you here today, what we’re talking about here is not just for people that are super spiritual, right? This is for every Joe Blow believer.
Ashley:
Whoever he is.
Carlie:
Every believer. You know what we need to start doing as believers? Believe.
Ashley:
Start believing. Believers, ready to believe.
Carlie:
Believers believe. That’s what we do.
Ashley:
Just in the area of prosperity. I teach a lot on prosperity and how to receive supernatural increase in your finances from God because I believe that’s part of his promises to us. And I get a lot of flack in this world. You live in America actually. That’s where it works. I’ve seen this work in Europe. I’ve seen this work in Africa, or in Asia and South America. I’ve seen this work in poor towns, poor villages I’ve seen this work. I’ve seen this work in prison cells where they don’t even have money. And people prosper, praise God.
Ashley:
The word of God work wherever, with whoever. I’ve seen it work with people that can’t even read and write and start successful businesses. So the word of God is no respecter of persons. It’s no respecter of circumstance, it’s no respecter of the hour of the day. The word of God will work. The only variable is our hearts. Are we going to plant in our hearts? Are we going to believe it? And are we’re going to see it manifest, amen.
Carlie:
Amen. I’m just thinking, Hebrews four verse two says, “The word did not profit them anything not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” We’ve got to take the word of God, meditate in the word day and night. We are going to cut … We’re going to pick this up more next time. But meditate in the word of God to a place where it produces peace in our hearts. And it helps us, because honestly if we’re in that process of waiting, that process of endurance, sometimes that doesn’t sound like fun.
Ashley:
Right.
Carlie:
But you know what? Yeah, we can have peace in and patience in the waiting.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
And I’ll tell you, when we do that, what we’ll find is the manifestations of the things of God multiply.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
They happen so much quicker. Things that we’ve been stuck with, [inaudible 00:26:02] that we’ve been stuck in where we’ve spoken the word of God but we haven’t seen anything manifest yet, man we start getting into the word of God and speaking the word of God. We’ll find that we’re filled with more peace, with more joy, with more expectancy and we’ll find that our faith becomes effective because faith becomes effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing that’s in us in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Ashley:
Amen.
Carlie:
So these trues are for you today and they will work for you just like they work for us.
Ashley:
Amen. That’s the truth.
Carlie:
Amen.
Ashley:
That’s the truth. I mean we … I want to pray for you before we let you go. Father God, I thank you for everyone listening today and watching today. I thank you Lord, that your promises are yes and amen for them. I thank you Lord that they’re going to endure and be patient as they see your promises manifest in their life. I thank you Lord. You’re helping us put your word and plant it in our hearts. You’re helping us put our relationship with you first place as a priority in our life, Lord. And I thank you, as we do that Lord, we’re going to see your promises come about in a supernatural way. Amen.
Carlie:
Amen.
Ashley:
