Carlie: Did you know that God can supernaturally promote you? He absolutely can. It’s totally true, so stay tuned and listen how.
Announcer: Why live a normal life when you could be living the abundant life? Welcome to The Abundant Life Program with Ashley and Carlie Terradez.
Ashley: Hello and welcome to Abundant Life. We’re so glad you’re here with us today. We’ve got an exciting program for you today. We’re so glad you’re with us. We’re talking about supernatural increase and today we’re talking about supernatural promotion. Did you know that God can promote you supernaturally? Amen. Carlie, we’re going to look at the story of Joseph today. In previous shows, we’ve looked at how God can supply our needs supernaturally. We looked at the widow woman, second Kings four, how she went to Elijah and Elijah showed her how God could give her supernatural increase and she could have her debt paid off.
We looked at Simon with a catch of fish, about how Jesus told him to cast the fish … Cast the fish?
Carlie: Cast the net.
Ashley: Cast the net to the other side, and he had a supernatural increase in his catch and he had to have partners come and help him. He had so much he had to have partners help him with that. We looked at, well, what other supernatural … We looked at water into wine.
Carlie: Water into wine.
Ashley: John two, water into wine. We looked at how Jesus turned the water into wine. When there’s a crisis at the wedding, they run out of wine, and Jesus had filled the water pots up and he turned that water into wine. We looked at, God doesn’t doesn’t supply our needs. He supplies our wants, and he supplies it with excellence, he gives us the best things.
Carlie: Over and above.
Ashley: Over and above. He gives us the best things, praise God. Today we’re looking at supernatural promotion, and we’re going to look at the story of Joseph. You can find this in Genesis chapter 39 and chapter 40. In fact, you can go right back to Genesis 37 if you want, but we’re just going to look at Genesis 39, when Joseph was taken down to Egypt as a slave. If you know the story of Joseph, most of you probably do, but he was sold by his brothers. He had a word from God to say that basically he was going to be a leader, and even his parents would bow down to him. He had a word from God that his brothers would serve him, and even his parents would bow down to him.
When he had these dreams, he revealed them to his brothers, probably a little bit prematurely. Sometimes God will show you things and it’s for you to keep yourself. It’s not good to just share with everyone. In fact, Jesus talks about casting your pales before pigs. Just be careful about who you’re revealing things to. Some people may get jealous, or some people may not understand because God hasn’t spoken to them.
If God speaks to you, use wisdom about who you share those things with, and make sure it’s someone who’s in agreement with you and someone who’s for you. But unfortunately Joseph shared these things and his brothers got jealous, and the next thing you know his brothers tried to kill him. They threw him down a pit, and then they sold him as a slave to some passing people. Then in Genesis 39, we’ll pick the story up here, in Genesis 39 he was taken down as a slave into Egypt. If you’ve got some of that in Genesis 39, maybe if you want to read some of that, and share that with us.
Carlie: Yeah, in verse one it says, “Now Joseph was brought down to Egypt and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him down from there. The Lord was with Joseph, so that he became a prosperous man.” This is interesting, because he’s a slave and yet the Lord is calling him a prosperous man.
Ashley: He was a slave, probably naked on the auction block, and nothing but a loincloth on this auction block. Didn’t even own his own body, and yet it says the Lord saw him as a prosperous man, as a successful man. Isn’t that interesting? That means that success really in the Lord’s eyes has nothing to do with possessions. Jesus puts it this way in Luke 12, he talks about be aware of covetousness because one’s life does not consist in the he possesses. Really what’s going on here is, Joseph was prosperous or successful because he had the Lord with him. That’s where it starts. It starts with the Lord in us, and that’s how we become successful and prosperous.
Carlie: We’re prosperous because God is with us.
Ashley: Amen.
Carlie: Amen. “He was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord had made all that he did to prosper. Joseph found favor in his sight and served him. So he made him an overseer of his house, and all that he had put under his charge. From the time that he made him an overseer in his house and over all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptians house on account of Joseph. So the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field, and he left all that he had in Joseph’s charge, and he had no concerns regarding any of the food except the food he ate.”
Ashley: Wow. Look at that. So Joseph started off as a slave, came down to Potiphar’s house. Potiphar bought him as a slave, and he had such excellence, and the Lord was with him, that Potiphar could see that and he gave Joseph charge of everything. This happened to me in a smaller scale, if you like, in a similar way. When I first started my first job as a car salesman, I went into this big car dealership as a car salesman, and I started in the very lowest rung, just a lowly car salesman. I remember starting there, and very soon it was evident that the blessing of God was on me. Now I did some things in the natural to help. I turned up early, I was diligent, I worked just as hard when the boss was there and when the boss wasn’t there. I told the truth. I didn’t do everything perfectly-
Carlie: That’s unusual in that industry.
Ashley: It’s very unusual in that industry. I told the truth to the customers. In fact, sometimes the owners, the managers, would get mad at me because I was telling the truth. They’d say, “Just lie to the customer, tell them this.” I said to them, “I’m a Christian. I just don’t want to lie to them. I want to tell them the truth.” They’d [inaudible] get mad at me, but they let me carry on. I carried on telling the truth, and what happened was, is I started to get a reputation that people wanted to deal with me because I was the person who told the truth.
Carlie: You had favor.
Ashley: I had favor. I was honoring God. I was working as unto the Lord. I think it’s Colossians three 17 says, whatever we do, whether it’s in word or deed, do it as unto the Lord. Whatever your boss is, like, whatever situation you’re in, Joseph was a slave here. He had no rights. He was in Potiphar’s house, but he did everything with excellence as unto the Lord and the Lord was with him, and he knew the Lord was with him. The first point I want to make, if you like, when we’re talking about supernatural promotion, we’re talking about God increasing, we’re talking about God increasing your influence and giving you resources supernaturally, you need to understand God is with you and you’re serving God. God is your boss, if you like. You’re serving God. That’s really good because it means that no matter what your boss is like, if he’s a good boss or a bad boss, you can serve him like you’re serving God. You can be honoring to God.
I tell people, honor that position. Honor the position of the boss. Even if they’re a bad boss, if you like, honor that position until they ask you to violate the word of God. I’ve heard people say, “Ashley, my boss doesn’t like me and they fired me or whatever, because I wouldn’t lie, or because they wanted me to do something against the word and I wouldn’t do it.” Then I find out afterwards, well, actually it was more to do with the fact they slacked off. They complained. They used to turn up late, leave early. They never did a very good job. Then when they were asked to do something, they used the Bible as an excuse. “Well, I don’t believe in that. I don’t want to do it.” That’s not good attitude.
Now what we want to do is, we want to serve with honor. We want to honor the position. We want to serve as unto the Lord. Then if they ask us to do something that’s against the word of God, I believe it’s going to be the rarity that you get fired for that. I believe they’ll respect you for that because of the job you’ve done. If you do get fired for that, you’re going to be blessed.
Carlie: God’s going to promote you somewhere else.
Ashley: God’s going to promote you somewhere else. Jesus said we’re going to be blessed. If we get fired for his sake, we’re going to get blessed. If we get persecuted for his sake, we’re going to get blessed. I went to this car dealership and I just did everything the best I could, but I had God with me. I believe the favor of God was on my life. I put demands on that favor. I’d go into work, and before I got there, I’d pray and I’d say, “God, I thank you. Everything I touch prospers. I [inaudible] the works in my hands are blessed. I thank Lord I have favor. I thank Lord your favor surrounds me.”
In Psalm 103, it talks about how the favor of God, his loving kindness encircles us. It encrowns us. His loving kindness crowns us. You study that out, loving kindness means favor, and encrowns means to circle. I used to proclaim, “I’m circled with God’s favor.” It doesn’t matter what direction I’m going today, God’s favor is going ahead to me. This is what happened to Joseph. Joseph had the favor of God in his life. I had the favor of God in my life, and it was a very short period of time, in fact less than three years, I went from the lowly position of salesman to running the whole place. I was the manager over the whole dealership. I was in charge of all the employees. I was doing payroll. I was the key holder, everything. I was even paying myself. The only person I was answerable to was the owner of that business. And that happened in three short years.
In fact, when I left that job they begged me to stay, and they offered me all sorts of bonuses to stay. But I said, “No, God’s called me to leave.” But that was God’s favor in my life. That was supernatural promotion. That’s not the only place it’s happened, but that was God’s favor on my life because I believe God was with me. I honored the Lord. I worked as unto the Lord, and I served people. We’re going to look at some other things Joseph did here to receive favor in his life.
Carlie: This whole series has been talking about the supernatural abundance of God. One of the ways that abundance comes through us is through promotion.
Ashley: Amen.
Carlie: That promotion comes from understanding that we have the favor of God in our life, and walking in integrity.
Ashley: Amen.
Carlie: And being honorable to that position.
Ashley: Amen. It really is. God can promote you beyond your education. God can promote you beyond your experience. God can promote you supernaturally with speed. Here’s the thing, God can promote you without having to push anyone else down. The world’s way of doing it is, push other people down.
Carlie: Tread on others.
Ashley: Tread on others to climb to the top. God’s way of doing it is, become the greatest servant. One thing that Joseph did here was he became the greatest servant. He served his people. Even though he was in charge, he served his people and he served them with love. We haven’t got time to go into the whole store and read every line, but basically what happens, I’m going to paraphrase some of this, he was in charge of Potiphar’s whole house. The only thing he wasn’t in charge of, I guess, is Potiphar’s own family, his wife, and what Potiphar ate.
What happened was, his wife falsely accused him and he ran. Joseph ran from that situation. He had integrity. He ran from that situation, and he made sure he wasn’t inappropriate with Potiphar’s wife. He even said, “My masters has given me access to everything but you. I can’t sin against my master.” He had integrity, and he ran from that situation. Unfortunately, Potiphar’s wife falsely accused him and he ended up in prison. You can imagine Joseph started off in a good family, some brothers and a loving father, a father who loved him. Then he ends up in a pit. He ended up being thrown in a pit and his brothers basically tried to murder him. Then he ends up a slave.
Carlie: That’s from bad to worse.
Ashley: It gets from bad to worse. Then he ends up as a slave, then he ends up in Potiphar’s house and very shortly he’s promoted to the head of the house.
Carlie: It looks like it’s going well.
Ashley: Yeah. Now, Joseph doesn’t know the end of the story. He doesn’t know the Genesis 40 and 41, so he’s thinking, “I’ve arrived. I’m the ruler in this house. Potiphar was a ruler in Egypt, I’m a ruler in his house. I’m doing good here.” I’m sure he’s paid well. He had lots of advantages. This is good. Then he gets falsely accused from not his own fault. He did the right thing. He gets falsely accused and thrown into prison.
Now, how many of us would still have a good attitude, or how many of us would be, “Woe is me, this isn’t fair”?
Carlie: It’s quite a roller coaster of emotions.
Ashley: It’s a roller coaster. Most of us would be like, “This isn’t fair. I did everything right. I was trying to serve the Lord. I was trying to have integrity.” They would have fought for their rights, or got bitter, or taken on offense. He could have got offended at Potiphar. He could’ve got offended at Potiphar’s wife, but he didn’t. He got into prison, and he just made the best of it. One of the keys to promotion is making the best, or acting in the spirit of excellence, whatever the situation.
Carlie: Even when things aren’t going your way, it’s easy to be honorable when everything’s going our way. It’s easy to be people of integrity when everything’s in our favor, but being honorable and being people of integrity when everything’s against us, keeping a good attitude in the face of adversity, that’s a real test.
Ashley: Amen. It really is. What happens is, wherever you are, whatever situation you are, the eyes of the Lord are going to and fro. He is looking to who he can make himself strong through. God can you, wherever you are. Even though the world might not see you, even though you think you’re the only person there, God sees you and God is interested in how you act, or how you serve in those situations. Jesus puts it this way. He puts it this way in Luke 16:10, in Luke 16:10 Jesus says, “If you’re not being faithful in the little, who’s going to give you much? If you’re not being faithful in another man’s, who’s going to give you your own?” Right here, Joseph’s put into prison and he shows himself faithful again in prison.
It says here in, this is Genesis 39:21, he was thrown into prison, it says, “But the Lord was with Joseph.” See, the Lord was still with Joseph in prison. It doesn’t matter where you are. It doesn’t matter what job you’re in. It doesn’t matter what country you’re in. Doesn’t matter what family tree line you’re from. It doesn’t matter any of those things, God is with you. You have the prints of God on the inside of you so you have favor. If you start believing you have that favor … I tell people there’s only two types of Christians. Those who are born again, and they know then they have the favor of God and they believe it, and those have the favor of God and don’t believe it. You are favored. It’s the question, do you believe it or don’t you? If you believe it and walk in it, praise God, you’re going to see the results.
Joseph’s even in prison. He has the favor of God it says, but the verse 21 of Genesis 39, it says, “The Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; wherever they did, it was his doing.” The keeper of the prison, verse 23, did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority because the Lord was with him and whatever he did the Lord may to prosper. Look at this, even in prison-
Carlie: Wow, he got promoted in prison.
Ashley: Even in prison, it’s like Joseph, you put him down a pit, he rose to the top. You put him in Potiphar’s house, he rose to the top. You put him in prison, he rose to the top because he had the favor. He believed in the favor of God in his life, and the favor of God made everything he did to prosper. They put him in prison and before you know it, he was the ruler of the prison. He had charge of prison. The favor of God was active in Joseph’s life, and he knew it, and he acted with a spirit of excellence. He did a good job wherever he was. Now, this is interesting. We’re talking about keys to promotion, supernatural promotion. This is very interested, if you skip down a few verses, in chapter 40, Genesis 40, and verse six, look at this right here. We can see in this verse that Joseph not only had integrity, not only did he operate in the spirit of excellence, but he loved and served people. We’re talking about keys to supernatural promotion.
Keys to supernatural promotion is loving and serving people, whatever the situation, wherever you are. Some of us might think, “Well, he was in prison. They’re just prisoners in there. No one can even see him in there. What does it matter? Just sit in the corner and [woe with me].” No, Joseph rose up and had a great attitude. Everything he did prospered. He was made in charge of the prison, and then he still loved and served the people. If you want to be the greatest leader of all, you’re got to be the greatest servant.
Jesus was the greatest leader who’s ever lived on the earth. He was the greatest leader, leading the greatest movement, and yet he became the servant of all. He actually said, “The son of man did not come to be served, but to serve.” Right before he died, Jesus got down on his hands and knees and washed the disciples feet. Jesus became the lowest servant in that instant. He became the lowest servant, and he was the greatest leader.
Right here in verse six, this is Genesis 40 verse six, and we can see that Joseph was serving. He was loving and serving the prisoners, his fellow prisoners. It says here, “And Joseph came into the prisoners in the morning and looked at them.” So Joseph took time to look at the prisoners. He cared for them. He loved these prisoners, looked to them and cared for them. Looking at them, he saw them and he saw they were sad. This tells me two things. One, Joseph cared for him, prisoners, because he looked at them to see how they were doing. Two, they were sad, which was not the norm. The norm was they were happy. So under Jesus’ watch, he was such a good servant, he was such a good prison master, if you like, that his prisoners were happy under his watch, so it was rare for prisons to be sad.
He saw that they were sad and he asked, he said, “Why are you sad?” Then it goes into the story of the baker and the butler, and they have dreams and he interprets the dream. Again, we haven’t got time to go into all that, but he interprets the dream and he says to the baker and the butler, “When you go in front of Pharaoh, don’t forget me. Let Pharaoh know that I’m down here.” Guess what? They forget him.
Carlie: All his buddies forget him.
Ashley: They forget him. So years, scholars believe it was years between Joseph interpreting those dreams and Pharaoh calling on Joseph. Years, and yet he didn’t get better. He didn’t [inaudible] offense. He could have been offended. He was forgotten about again. He just kept doing his job. He kept having a good attitude. He kept having the spirit of excellence, and he carried on serving in that prison.
Joseph had a spirit of excellence. Wherever you put him, he served with excellence, and he had an excellent spirit about him. He knew God was with him. He had the favor of God operating in his life. He knew God was with him, and wherever he did the Lord made the prosper, whether it was in Potiphar’s house, or whether it was in prison. The Lord made him to prosper, and he loved and served people. He loved and served the people around him, whether people could see him or not he loved and served the people around him.
These are some of the keys to supernatural promotion God’s way. I don’t believe God’s going to promote you unless you’re doing these things. It’s not about work. It’s not about you making it happen. God wants to promote you. But it’s up to us to respond to his kindness. It’s up to us to respond to his grace. Grace has made a way for you to be promoted and to have supernatural influence, but our part by faith is to activate that. One of the ways we activate that is by serving people and doing good will in these situations.
Carlie: Amen.
Ashley: Putting a demand on God’s promises.
Carlie: Amen.
Ashley: Amen?
Carlie: That’s powerful.
Ashley: He carried on serving in prison until Pharaoh called him up, and it said, what happened was is there was a dream and the Pharaoh said, “Can anyone interpret this dream?” No one could interpret the dream. They had all these people come out, and this is Genesis 41. All these different people come out and try and interpret the dream. No one could interpret the dream. Then finally, the baker remembered, he said, sorry, the butler. Who was killed, the baker or the butler? I can’t remember now. Whichever one wasn’t killed, obviously. The one that was killed couldn’t remember.
But I believe it’s the baker said, “There was someone down there”, the butler, sorry, the butler said to Pharaoh, “We had dreams and there was a Hebrew man in the prison who interpreted our dreams.” They say probably two or three years later, this was. Finally the butler remembered. The butler said, “He interpreted my dream and he interpreted the baker’s dream.” Pharaoh said, “Go and get me that person.” This is Genesis 41, verse 14. Pharaoh called for Joseph, and bring him up here. Now, this is very interesting, and this is Genesis, have you got that there, Genesis 41 14? I don’t know if you’ve got that.
Carlie: Yep.
Ashley: There in your bible, [inaudible] to read that scripture there?
Carlie: Yeah, so Pharaoh sent and called for Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon. He shaved himself, changed his clothes, and came to Pharaoh.
Ashley: Isn’t that interesting?
Carlie: He got spruced up.
Ashley: Isn’t that interesting? What does that tell us? That tells us Joseph was serious about this meeting with Pharaoh. He got himself ready. He prepared for this meeting with Pharaoh. He didn’t just walk in there unshaven and in messy clothes. He actually made an effort. In fact, one of the things we can see from here is Joseph had three coats. Okay? He had a coat of multi-colors that his father gave him back in Genesis 37. And that coat was ripped from him and his brothers stole that from him, and threw him down a pit. Then he had a coat in Potiphar’s house that Potiphar’s wife took from him and falsely accused him. But then this time he took his own coat off, he chose to take his coat-
Carlie: He changed his clothes.
Ashley: His clothes. He chose to take his coat off and put a different coat on, because he was going in front of Pharaoh and he knew that he had to prepare himself to go in front of Pharaoh. This is excellence. We’re talking about preparation. We’re talking about preparing yourself for God’s promotion. [inaudible] God wants to supernaturally promote you.
Carlie: Anytime that robes and clothing is mentioned in the scriptures, it’s referring to identity. People’s clothing in the scriptures was a picture of their identity. You think about the beggar, blind Bartimaeus by the side of the road, when he wanted to walk towards Jesus and receive his healing he had to cost off his beggar clothes. Here’s Joseph, he’s a prisoner, he’s a prisoner, he’s had his identity stolen from him, his position taken from him. But here he is, he’s changing his identity. His changing his clothes is very significant in this moment, because it’s almost like he’s saying, “I’m not identifying any more as a prisoner. I’m getting ready to step into the next assignment that God has for me.” He didn’t just change his clothes, he changed his mindset. Something significant happened in Joseph’s life in that moment that prepared him, and enabled him to be ready for the next step, that was to go before Pharaoh, the next assignment that God had for his life.
Ashley: Amen. It wasn’t that he was trying to make it happen by changing. He was preparing himself for something he felt might happen. This is one of the keys to promotion. We have to position ourselves ready for promotion. It’s not a of positioning ourselves like putting people down or anything like that. We’re talking about, are we ready? Have you got it in your heart to be promoted? Start imagining what it’d be like to be promoted, start imagining what it’d be like to have more influenced. Start imagining what it’d be like to lead more people, and to have more responsibility. Are you ready for that type of thing? The spirit of excellence will carry out into the flesh. It will carry out into even your clothing. This is controversial, but if you’re called up to something, you’re called up to meet, and you turn up and you haven’t made any effort to prepare yourself-
Carlie: You smell bad.
Ashley: Hey, you smell bad, you got the wrong clothes on. You haven’t prepared yourself, and that’s going to disqualify you right away. Sure, people should be looking into your spirit rather than looking at your flesh.
Carlie: But they don’t.
Ashley: They don’t. First impressions is the flesh first, right? They look at your flesh, and you can disqualify yourself just by not wearing the right clothes. Do some research, make sure that you’re actually being appropriate, make sure you’re preparing yourself not just in your heart but also your flesh. Make sure you’re preparing your outward appearance ready for these important encounters. Job interviews, for instance, this is just a little side note here, but people say, “I don’t care, I’m going to go into a job interview and if the only reason they’re going to hire me is because of what I’m wearing, that’s shallow.” Now it’s called first impressions. If you’ve got a job interview, wear nice clothes, make sure you’re sharp.
Carlie: Make an effort.
Ashley: Do some research, make an effort. Find out about the company that you’re doing the job interview for. With the internet now, it’ll take you five, 10 minutes to research that company. When they ask you, “Why do you want to work for this company?”, you say, “Well, I want to work with this company because I believe X, Y, and Z”, or, “I love the way that you do X, Y, and Z. I love the way that your company stands for this”, or, “Your company does this.” It can be anything. It can be selling widgets. “I love the way your widgets are made”, or whatever. Do a little bit of research. That’s going to make the difference. It’s amazing how little things like that, faith when the little, these are seemingly little things. What Joseph did here by changing his clothes and shaving was a small thing. But like we said, Jesus said, “Those who are faithful in the little will be given much.” It’s important to do those small preparation things, right?
Carlie: Amen. Amen. The favor of God surrounds us and overtakes us. The blessings of God go before us and chase us down, right?
Ashley: Amen.
Carlie: The promotion of God is what’s upon our life, but it comes through our relationship with him. It comes through our integrity. God is well able to position us-
Ashley: Amen.
Carlie: For abundance, for blessing. He’s well able to get us where we need to be, to have us in the right place at the right time. But in order to follow his direction, we need to be in relationship with him. There’s one more example I think I’d like to include here. This is Moses in the book of Exodus, and chapter 12. Moses has been, he’s been called by God to deliver the slaves, part of Joseph’s generations, his children’s children, right, out of Egypt.
He goes to Pharaoh. This is a long story, so study it out for yourself, but this is partway through. He goes through, by chapter 12, he’s gone back to meet with Pharaoh. This is after the plagues of Egypt. Okay? Lots of things have happened. There’s been lots of plagues that have happened, but it comes to the point where it says, this is in chapter 12, let’s look here in verse 25. “Now the children of Israel did according to the words of Moses, and they requested” … God had given Moses favor in the sight of Pharaoh. This is really significant. This is why the end of the plagues, let me just preface this, at the end of the plagues, Pharaoh eventually decides, “Moses, I’ve had enough of you. I’ve had enough of these plagues. Take these children and get on out of here”, right?
In verse 35 it says, “Now the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses, and they requested of the Egyptians articles of silver and articles of gold and clothing. And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians so that they gave them what they requested, and thus they plundered the Egyptians.” Not only did Moses go back and have favor with Pharaoh, to let the people go, but when they left the day that he said, “Get on out of here and leave”, they went knocking. The Hebrew children who had been slaves for hundreds of years went and knocked on the neighbor’s doors, the Egyptians, and the favor and the promotion of the Lord went before them, and the Egyptians who were their slave masters actually gave over all of their wealth, their gold, their silver and their clothing.
We’ve been talking about clothing is a link to identity. The children of Israel, when they walked out of Egypt, not only were they free but they had a new identity. They had new outfits to go with it. Amen. This is very significant, because the abundance and the favor, the supernatural provision of God, comes through relationship. That favor is birthed out of that relationship, which goes before us, overtakes us, and makes a way for us.
Ashley: Amen. That’s so good. That’s so good. We’re talking about God’s supernatural favor, God’s supernatural promotion. God wants to promote you. We know that the end of the story with Joseph, most of you know this, but he ended up going in front of Pharaoh, interpreting his dreams, and then Pharaoh saying, “What other man is there with such wisdom? Let’s make him the prime minister of Egypt. Let’s make him number two of Egypt.” Joseph ended up being the number two ruler in Egypt, being the second most powerful man in the whole of Egypt. He got everything returned to him that was lost. He got his family back. He got his-
Carlie: He recovered all.
Ashley: He got his possessions back, he recovered all. He was completely vindicated. He had supernatural promotion, supernatural favor. I’m telling you, God is still in the business of promoting you supernaturally. Love people, serve people, obey the voice of God. Be faithful in the little, whatever you’ve got in front of you, wherever God’s put in your hands, be faithful to that. Be faithful of another man, serve as unto you’re serving the Lord, and you watch what the little can do. The little can promote you, right where you’re at, praise God. He can make a way where there seems to be no way, and God wants to promote you today. Amen?
Carlie: Amen.

I thank you, everyone listening today, everyone watching today, I thank you [inaudible] promoting them, you’re giving them supernatural favor, and [I’m thankful] we’ve been bold in that favor. We’re acting on that favor, and we’re seeing your promises come to pass in our life.
