On the 4th of November 2019 I had an incredible encounter with the Lord which completely changed my life – I received complete physical healing from an eight-year-old neck and back injury and a number of other physical problems. God not only healed me physically – He also healed my soul and set me free from years of fear.
I grew up in a Baptist Church and gave my life and heart to Jesus at the age of six. I have always enjoyed taking part in sport. As I started winning medals, titles and awards, I made the mistake of finding my identity in sport. Sport had become an idol in my life and the enemy started sending me lies and fear – mainly fear that an injury would end my sporting career.
As a result of enjoying the outdoors and being adventurous – I had been involved in a few accidents over the years. Some of my injuries included a wedge compression fracture of my spine, whiplash to my neck, back and neck muscle spasms, sprained wrist, injured hip, a fractured pelvis in two places and broken ribs.
The worst of the accidents occurred on the 4th of November 2011, I was training for the sport Modern Pentathlon and was thrown off a horse into a wall. As I lay in the emergency room at the hospital, I remember thinking that my worst fear had come true, that at the age of twenty my sporting career was over. My injuries healed well and I made a great comeback to sport – although I still struggled with some problems especially with my back and neck. I could constantly feel the wedge compression fracture of my spine – and my back and neck muscles were in a spasm.
I loved the Lord but my relationship with God wasn’t progressing. In 2019 I started seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord. I was really excited to attend a meeting at Shofar Christian Church in East London, a church I didn’t normally attend. As I was seeking the Lord, He had been teaching me about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Before the meeting I asked the Lord to please fill me with the Holy Spirit. On Monday the 4th of November 2019 – the first night of the meeting – the Holy Spirit revealed to Pastor Andre there was someone with neck pain – and he called us to the front. When Pastor Andre laid his hands on me, I felt this warm powerful wave move through my body as I was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then the Holy Spirit firmly but gently pushed me over and I lay on the floor shaking uncontrollably. This was something I was not accustom to coming from a Baptism Church but God’s perfect peace filled me as I lay in His presence.
The day after my incredible encounter with God, the Lord revealed to me that it was exactly eight years since the horse-riding accident. I checked my x-rays and eight years ago, on the 4th of November 2011, I was lying in the emergency room filled with pain and fear. Exactly eight years later I was lying in the presence of my Lord and Saviour – in the Bible the number eight means new beginning. This encounter with God was an amazing new beginning – and I will never be the same again. Healing was a journey for me – God taught me step by step how to receive my healing. It was supernatural how God lead me to Terradez Ministries and started teaching me the full Gospel. I knew that Jesus died on the cross for our sin but I never knew the truth that He also paid for our healing, prosperity, freedom and everything that we need to have an abundant life on earth. I was so excited to hear these truths from Terradez Ministries. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Praise God – today I am completely healed and set free from years of fear.

God is no respecter of persons. What the Lord did for me He wants to do to for everyone. God loves you so much that He wants you to be healed, prosper and set free even more that you want it yourself. Words can’t describe how good God has been to me – eternity won’t be long enough to thank and praise my Heavenly Father for all He has done for me.
