Carlie: Did you know that offense is one of the biggest offenders that keeps us captive and stops us from walking in the freedom for which Christ Jesus, paid for us to live in? Stay tuned, to find out more.

Announcer: Why live a normal life when you could be living the abundant life? Welcome to the Abundant Life Program with Ashley and Carlie Terradez.

Ashley: Hello, and welcome to Abundant Life. We are so glad you’ve joined us today here in the lounge. We’ve got a great program for you today, we’re talking about freedom. I mean, in the middle of a series, talking about freedom and how to walk in freedom. And we’ve been talking about a number of different things, but today in particular, we have something that’s going to help you walk in freedom like never before. This is something… I’m tenure. You need this, I need this, you need this.

Carlie: I’m offended.

Ashley: This is offense. We’re talking about being offended. Okay. So, I’m tenured.

Carlie: So, if you want to poke your neighbor or nudge your spouse, now’s the time to do it.

Ashley: Yeah, if you stay close to someone and you got bruises because of their elbow, this could be your time. We’re talking about being offended. What it means to be offended and what type of effect that has when you’re offended, because offense will come, I’m telling you. There’s going to be… You’re going to have opportunity to be offended. Let me put it this way. If you haven’t had the opportunity to be offended recently-

Carlie: Just hold on. We’ll probably offend during this program.

Ashley: Yeah, we’ll probably offend you during this program. Will give you the opportunity to be offended.

Carlie: Yeah, and then we’ll show you how to overcome it. It’s going to be awesome. You’ll love this.

Ashley: [crosstalk] talking about offense and in all seriousness, offense is something the enemy will try and use to distract you from your relationship with God. He’ll try and use a fence to really derail you from your calling from God. I’m telling you, there’s nothing like offense. I’ve got a good friend, he’s been in ministry decades, over 50 years, and he says offense is the number one reason he sees people get out of ministry and get out of the will of God and stop serving God whole heartedly, because they get offended. Not because of sin, not because of drinking and drugs and women and corrals, and whatever they call it. What do they say? Anyway-

Carlie: Righteous living.

Ashley: Righteous living and all that. Not because of those things that, they can hinder us, obviously, sin will entangle you, but offense is really what the enemy uses. It’s the hook that the enemy uses to ensnare us and get us out of the will of God. So, how are we going to deal with this, Carlie?

Carlie: Well, actually, it’s interesting you say that, because the word offense is from the Greek word, skandalon. It’s the word we get scandal from.

Ashley: Scandalous.

Carlie: Yes, scandalous. It means, a trap or an impediment or a snare. It’s literally a trap.

Ashley: I did not know that.

Carlie: Yeah. And so, people leave churches because of offense, they leave work, they leave opportunities, they leave relationships, families, they don’t speak to them for years, because of this word offense, because we’ve fallen into a trap. And how many of you know that the devil just love you to catch you in a trap. He’d love to put you in bondage, he’d love to separate you, to isolate you, to get you so offended… He’d love to get your offended at God, that’s where he’s really after, and there are many people that are offended at God. They’re offended at the pastor, they’re offended at the neighbor, they just live in offense, and maybe this is you, maybe we’re describing you perfectly and now you’re offended. But you know when you-

Ashley: Don’t switch off.

Carlie: Don’t switch off. [crosstalk] hold on, hold on. It’s going to get better, I promise you, okay? You know when you’re offended if… Have you ever walked down the street or maybe you’ve been in the supermarket or the mall or somewhere, and you’ve been going on and you see somebody and you’re like, “Oh, I just don’t want to talk to that person.” And so, you cross the street or you turn the corner or you dive into a store and you just… It’s not that necessarily things have been said, in your heart, you just want to avoid them. There’s an avoidance there. Often, it’s because offense is at the root and will actually cause us to separate from relationships, to make crazy decisions, to go the wrong direction, to miss out on the promises of God.

And the word describes offense as an impediment. It’ll hinder us. We don’t want to be people that live in offense. It’ll cause our heart to become hardened. If you were with us previously, we talked about the symptoms of a hardened heart and how we become insensitive to the things of God. People that are living in offense. If we don’t deal with it, we’ll become insensitive to the things of God to the point where we find it even hard to hear from him. We become offended at him and we don’t want to be there because it will stop us from walking in the freedom for which Christ has paid for us to live. He’s called us to live a life that’s free. Free from sin, free from sickness, free from poverty, free from depression, disappointment, discouragement. He’s called us to live in freedom, but we have to fight for our freedom.

Ashley: Amen. I believe there’s people watching today, and this isn’t anything that I was planned to say, but I believe this is by the Spirit of the Lord. That you’ve been believing God. Our whole ministry is basically helping you, empowering you in the promises of God. So, you’ve been believing God, God has great promises. All God’s promises, yes and amen. As Carlie said, whether that’s for healing, for provision, for breakthrough, for peace, all these things. But I believe there’s some people watching today and because you’ve been believing the word, you’ve been believing God, but you haven’t seen it manifest in the natural, you haven’t actually seen your miracle manifest, you’re offended at God.

And you might not tell people that you, you wouldn’t tell people that, but you need to realize that you could be offended at God and you don’t even know it, but on the inside, you’re offended at God. It’s like you’re almost mad at God that the fact that he hasn’t done what you thought he should do. I’m here to tell you, your problem is not with God. God is not your problem, praise God. God is your answer. He’s not your problem. He wants you well more than you want to be well. He wants you provided for, He wants you to walk in peace and hope and victory more than you want it. So, your problem is not with God.

There could be a number of different things, we’ll can look at some of them today. Things in your own heart, the enemy, some other people but I’m telling you, God is not your problem. God wants you well, God wants you whole, God wants you to walk in victory, he wants you to prosper. Third, John two says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper just as your soul prospers and be in health.” That’s God’s will for you. God’s will for you is good and it’s righteous. So, don’t let offense at God. Like Carlie said, the enemy would love you to be offended at God, then you’re going to find it hard to receive from Him. God’s not your problem, he’s your answer. He loves you and he’s only got good things for you.

Carlie: So, where is the problem? Let’s have a look in the word here. This is in Matthew Chapter 16. We’re going to start here in verse 22. Jesus is talking, he’s foretelling his death. He’s telling his disciples, “This is how this is going to go down guys. I’m going to be killed and I’m going to raise again on the third day.” In verse 22, now we’ve been studying Peter, so make sure you go back and watch previous episodes because we have a lot to say about Peter. We love Peter, but he’s just a man that lives out of his heart. Everything he thinks comes right out of his mouth. He’s a lover.

Ashley: He was a verbal processor.

Carlie: He was a soft heart.

Ashley: He was a verbal processor, definitely.

Carlie: Absolutely.

Ashley: He spoke first, thought later. Action first, thinking later.

Carlie: He’s all action.

Ashley: It’s good. I like him. I can relate.

Carlie: We look in verse 22. It says then, “Peter took him to Jesus and began rebuking him.” He’s rebuking Jesus saying, “Far, be it from you, Lord. This will not happen to you.” It grieved him in his heart to hear what Jesus is saying about him being killed and tortured and he’s like, “No, please. This isn’t going to… Don’t say those things.” He was just thinking out of his heart. Jesus had quite a stern response and we need to understand why, okay? He says, “But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan.'”

Ashley: It’s pretty strong.

Carlie: It’s pretty crushing, isn’t it?

Ashley: It’s pretty strong.

Carlie: “You are an offense to me…” And this is the reason, this is where offense comes from. “For you are not mindful of the things of God, but those that are of man.” Offense comes when we’re more focused on the opinions, on the approval, on the thoughts of man than we are on the thoughts of God. It lays a trap for us. What was happening here in this moment, was Peter, without even knowing, I don’t think he was even aware of this, he was laying a trap for Jesus. A trap for Jesus to consider not going to the cross.

Ashley: So, the enemy was using… What happened was, the enemy was using Peter and the amazing thing is, just a few verses before, Jesus said to Peter, this revelation, some people say the church is built on Peter, it’s not, it’s built on his revelation. He said, “You are the Christ, you are the Lord, you’re the Messiah…” And Jesus said, “Upon that revelation, I’m going to build my church. That’s what the church is going to be built on. It’s going to be built on that revelation.” So, just a few verses before, Peter’s was like, “Yeah.”

Carlie: He’s the man.

Ashley: He’s the man. He’s like, “You see that? Look at this.” And then just a few verses later, Jesus called him Satan, “Get behind me, Satan.” It wasn’t Peter Jesus was calling Satan, it was that the enemy was using Peter to lay a trap for Jesus, because, here’s the truth here, Jesus was tempted to go along with what Peter was saying. He knew… In the Gardner of Gethsemane, Jesus said to God the father, he was praying. He said, “Father, please, if there’s any way that this cup of judgment could pass from me…” And he said, “But not my will, but Your will be done.” He was so anxious. Jesus was God, but he’s also 100%… He chose to be 100% man when he came down to earth. So, even though he was 100% God, he restricts himself to a man when he came to earth and he had the same thoughts and things go through him. He had the same temptations and he was tempted, it says in Hebrews, “He was tempted in all ways,” just as we are tempted.

Carlie: He did not sin.

Ashley: He did not sin. Yeah, Jesus was perfect. He did not sin. Jesus did not sin, he was perfect, but he was tempted, right here, to not go to the cross.

Carlie: Those thoughts came to him and he had to overcome them, because he really could have decided not to go to the cross, not to fulfill the plan of God, not to save humanity. He could have done that. He was a 100% man, as well as 100% God. There was a trap that was laid through the words of somebody he loved. Oftentimes… Offense is called the bait of Satan, right? Because it’s a trap and Satan’s sneaky and he’ll often use people that we love to tempt us with this trap of offense. It’s subtle.

Ashley: Well, here’s the thing. The people we love and the people that are close to us, their words mean so much more to us.

Carlie: Yeah, we care about their opinion.

Ashley: That’s right. If you’re walking down the street and a complete stranger says to you, “Oh, you don’t look very good today.” I mean, [inaudible] doesn’t bless you, but if it’s your spouse or someone close to you… Someone cuts you off in traffic and shouts at, “You idiot.” Okay, well, they’re having a bad day, wherever but if it’s someone close to you, if it’s someone you love, someone who you respect their opinion-

Carlie: Yeah, you value their opinion.

Ashley: You value their words, then it’s going to hurt you, it’s going to be an offense to you. So, that’s why the enemy used Peter here, to try and offend Jesus and try and actually trap him with this offense, so that’s why Jesus had to be so strong and turn around and say, “Get behind me, Satan.” And actually rebuke this real quick. Jesus obviously didn’t take these modern leadership courses that say you only praise in public and you only rebuke in private. I mean, Jesus distribute Peter here, right there in front of everyone else, “Get behind me, Satan.”

Carlie: Named and shamed him.

Ashley: Right there. Praise God. I guess, you could argue it was in private, because there was only the disciples there, but the fact is that Jesus dealt with it right away. In Isaiah, it talks about, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” And it says, “Every tongue that rises up against you, you shall condemn.”

Carlie: Yeah, the tongue that rises up against you in judgment, Isaiah 54:17.

Ashley: Isaiah 54:17, “You should condemn.” So, Jesus turned around and condemned this word-

Carlie: And he had to, because other people were listening. If he didn’t stop Peter right there, other people could have picked up on that and it could have propagated. We need to shut the opportunity. Shut the trap. Literally.

Ashley: It could’ve been a borrowed defense, sometimes it’d be even worse than the original offense. Your spouse, something happens to them at work, they come back and tell you about it. “So-and-so… I was passed out for promotion again.” Or, “So-and-so said this about me.” Now you’ve got a borrower defense. Now you’re more offended than your loved one because you’re like, “Oh, that’s not fair, that’s not justice. That’s injustice, that’s not fair.” And you can have a borrowED offense. So, we have to really watch out for this because the enemy is trying to get offense in us, he’s trying to lay these baits. So, then if we take the bait and let these offenses in, it can distract us from the word of God, it can distract us from the truth and what God’s got planned for us.

Carlie: Absolutely, and like we’re saying, that one of the words for offense is impediment. It can hinder us, it can trap us, keep us in bondage, keep us from freedom, but keep us captive and actually hinder us from receiving the promises of God in our life. You look at this, this is in… Well, actually, Paul puts it this way. Have you got Acts 24:16 there?

Ashley: I can do. Acts 24…

Carlie: Acts 24, verse 16. This is a struggle in our minds we have to be really conscious of, and Paul has some things to say about this.

Ashley: Acts 24:16, puts it this way, it says, “This being so, I myself…” This is Paul speaking. “I, myself, always strive to have a conscience without offense towards God and man.” So, you can be offended at God and you can offended at man. He amplify, puts it this way, “Therefore I always exercise and discipline myself, mortifying my body…” Paul was really into disciplining his flesh, making sure he was going after it. “Deadening my carnal affections, bodily appetites and worldly desires, endeavoring in all aspects to have a clear (unshaken, blameless) conscience, void of offense towards God and towards man.”

Carlie: He had to make an effort to keep his conscience clean from offense. If offense is something that’s been triggered on the inside of you, whether you knew you were offended or not before you started watching this program, but you’ve realized it now. Stay with us because we’re going to show you how to overcome the trap of offense.

Ashley: Hey, we’re talking about offense and when it means to be offended and how to overcome offense, praise God. It’s not the easiest subject to talk about, because when you’re offended, it can make you mad. I mean, it can get in the inside of you, it can affect you, right? In all different ways. But before we do that, before we talk about the answer to offense and how to overcome offense, I have a testimony here that I want to share with you. Larna wrote in. You can write in, TerradezMinistries.com. We’d love to hear from you, and she has a testimony.

She said that she was in back pain for more than 10 years. She had pain in her back for more than 10 years and then a recent healing conference that Carlie was speaking at, Carlie spoke out back pain. Often in our live events, we’ll minister and often we’ll have words of knowledge, words of wisdom, we’ll call out conditions and diseases and we’ll see those conditions and diseases healed right there in front of us. It’s awesome, praise God. God turns up at these events and all sorts of things happen, praise God.

We see lots of miracles. So, Larna was at one of our events, you called out back pain, her back straightened up by itself, without Larna even trying. The pain left immediately and she’s been completely pain-free ever since, praise God. Larna has been pain-free ever since. I tell you what, God wants you well, He’s got a healing ministry. Jesus had a healing ministry. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still healing the sick. Praise God. So, whatever you need, God can heal you. Contact us, terradez.com. We’d love to help you walk out your healing. Amen.

Carlie: Amen.

Ashley: So where are we [inaudible] offense? I’m offended now.

Carlie: People might find this really hard to believe, but I was offended at you once.

Ashley: Once?

Carlie: I was offended at you.

Ashley: You was offended at me once?

Carlie: I was. I don’t know-

Ashley: What did I do?

Carlie: I don’t know actually, I don’t remember. It was quite-

Ashley: It wasn’t that bad.

Carlie: It can’t have been that bad. I mean, you are near perfection.

Ashley: I mean, I’m very close.

Carlie: It’s very close.

Ashley: I’m a legend in my own mind.

Carlie: He’s a legend in his own mind. Amazing.

Ashley: You got offended at me?

Carlie: I did and then I don’t know what you did-

Ashley: We made 21 years-

Carlie: 21 years. It was a while ago now, but I’ve got to… Something good came out of it, so hold on. This is the thing. We’re going to be talking how we overcome offense and so, let me just share something that happened to me, why I was offended at Ashley… Can’t even remember what it was about, it must’ve been really petty.

Ashley: Very small. It wasn’t a problem. I’m sure it was very… Yeah, it wasn’t that big of a deal because I’m pretty perfect.

Carlie: But instead of going… Now, we’ve been married a long time. We don’t look old enough to be married 21 years, do we?

Ashley: I know.

Carlie: I know, it’s amazing. But anyway-

Ashley: And every day of your marriage with you just gets better and better.

Carlie: Oh, wow, he’s making up for it now. Look, he’s laying down with a trowel. So, anyway, I took my offense before the Lord, and I’m like, “Lord, that man you gave me. Seriously…” I mean, I had attitude, I was like, “That man. That man you gave me.”

Ashley: Didn’t name me. Didn’t even me, just said, “That man.”

Carlie: “I want a new man by Friday.” I had all kinds of sass going on.

Ashley: That’s what Adam said about Eve, he said, “That woman you gave me.” He blamed Eve. “That woman you gave me. That man you gave me.” I see.

Carlie: But I was just moaning about Ashley, moaning and groaning in the complaining and you know what I realized? The Lord was very quiet. Like, he wouldn’t say anything. Like, he wasn’t agreeing with me. He wouldn’t say anything-

Ashley: Because he loves me. God loves me.

Carlie: Because he loves you. Actually he says, “Ashley is my problem.” And I was like, “Yes, he is.”

Ashley: A problem? No, no, no, no, no, no. What you heard was, “Ashley is my problem.” What God said was, “Ashley’s my beloved son, I love him [crosstalk]”

Carlie: “My beloved son, whom I’m well pleased.” But the Lord spoke to me and he says, “Listen, let me deal with Ashley, whatever it was.” And he says, “Are you finished complaining yet?” And then I knew, “Okay, I’m a little bit off-base.” But I actually got quiet and I started to listen, God said to me, “Now I want to tell you how I feel about you. I’m not going to talk to you about Ashley’s heart, I want to talk to you about your heart.” Man, that just got me. And so, he had me sit down with a notepad and a pen and he just started to tell me exactly how he felt about me.

And I didn’t realize as God poured out His love for me, how He told me what he deposited on the inside of me, how He loved me with an everlasting love, how He’d filled me with His spirit, how He’d given me at the mind of Christ, how He had put His gifts on the inside of me, set me above the circumstances and not beneath them. He said I was blessed going in and blessed going out, that I had life and death and the power of my tongue. The power to move mountains on the inside, dead raising faith. Man, He started to tell me all the good things about me, all the good things, all the God parts of me. Man, I started to get excited.

I wrote those things down and I didn’t realize what each sentence that He told me it was a scripture until I went back and He showed me in the word later on. But you know, by the time God had finished talking to me about how much He loved me, I actually couldn’t even remember what I was offended about. And here’s the truth, when we cease to be so mindful of the opinions of man and become more mindful of the opinion of God, we start to become un-offendable. It doesn’t matter what other people say, what other people think, God thinks you’re awesome. He thinks you’re His beloved, He thinks you’re the best thing since sliced bread.

Before there even was bread, you were the best thing. Before there was bread that could be sliced, He was crazy about you. When we’re more mindful about the things of God, we’ll care less about the opinions of men. Whether people like us or don’t like us, favor us or don’t favor us, agree with us, support us, critique us, criticize. We’ll place more value and we have more security of who we are in Christ and what God says about us, that we won’t fall into the trap of offense. And I didn’t realize it at the time, but we actually wrote those things that God spoke to me, those things that I wrote down on my pad, we wrote them out as our confession card.

Ashley: Confession card. I have a digital version here.

Carlie: Oh my goodness. I don’t know if you can see that.

Ashley: It’s the digital version. My iPad, that I read very regularly, to remind myself who I am in Christ.

Carlie: Amen, that’s a powerful tool actually.

Ashley: You can get your own free copy. We’ll give you a copy free. The instructions on your screen, terradez.com, get your confession card. But that is true, because it’s keeping your mind… It’s taking your focus off of the offense and onto who you are in Christ, and I’ve got another challenge that I want to give the viewers. This is what I’ve done in the past. When I’ve been offended at someone, and you know if you’re offended at someone. If someone’s offended you, you know it because you can feel it. When you meet them or see them and there’s a stir and you can feel that offense, you can feel that anger, you can feel whatever that emotion is rising up in you, I want to challenge you.

You know what? Confess these things over that person. Start praying for that person, start blessing that person. You say, “Ashley, you don’t understand. He’s my boss and he’s like… I’m telling you, the devil takes notes on him, he’s such a bad boss. He’s terrible person.” Doesn’t matter. Romans 4:17, “Speak those things that be not as if they are.” At the end of the day, even if they’re not born again, God still created that person and God still loves that person. So, start confessing the truth over that person, start praying for that person in your own times of prayer and start praying for them and start bless them and say, “God bless that person.” And start speaking those words of life over them. Sometimes we’ll pray and prayers are not good, they’re offensive prayers-

Carlie: People pray their offense.

Ashley: They pray their offense.

Carlie: There’s a saying that, “Misery loves company.” Well, offense loves company too. Actually, you can see this here in Matthew, chapter 13. If you look here. This is from verse 53, it talks about the rejection of Jesus at Nazareth. There is a familiarity. Familiarity breeds contempt, right? And so, Jesus was preaching in the synagogue and it says here in verse 54, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty words? Is he not the carpenter’s son? Is his mother not called Mary?”

These are people in his own town that saw him as a baby, growing up, learning to walk, falling over, grazing his knee, having a runny nose, whatever it was. All of those things. They saw him only in his natural self and didn’t see him as the son of God. They didn’t see him for who he really was, they only saw it by their eyes, so they made opinions based on their familiarity, and that actually caused them to be offended. Look at this. It says in verse 56, “And his sisters, are they not all with us? When did this man get all these things? And they took offense at him.”

Now look at this. It says, Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except his own country and in his own house.” And then he goes on to say, in verse 58, “And he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” This is one of the things that we need to be careful of with offense. Offense, if it’s unchecked, will cause us that we’ll fall into that trap, it will become an impediment to us, the word skandalon, scandal. It will actually trap us and we’ll find ourselves in a place of unbelief and it’ll actually stop the power of God from functioning in us and through us. Unbelief stopped Jesus performing many mighty works. If unbelief came to Jesus, you can bet it’ll hinder us if we allow it to prosper.

We cannot live with offense. Offense actually keeps people from the power of God and from the blessings of… Offense can keep you from your miracle. There’s another example here. This is in Second Kings, Chapter Five, and this is talking about Naaman. Now, Naaman, he was a captain of the army of the King of Aram. He was a man of great stature, he was quite a proud man, he had people looking up to him, he had lots of authority, but then he also had leprosy, and leprosy couldn’t be cured back then, okay? And so, it was seen as a curse, it was bad. Now, long story short here, he had a servant girl that was a Hebrew and she told him about, “There’s a prophet. There’s a prophet and you can be healed. There’s a God that heals.” And so, Naaman sent word. It says in verse nine, “So, Naaman came with his horses and chariot and stood at the entrance to the house of a Elisha.”

Ashley: The servant girl told Naaman, “Go and see, Elisha. Elisha has been healing people, he’s been doing miracles, he can heal your leprosy.”

Carlie: Yep, and so he goes. And Elisha sent a messenger to him saying, “Go wash yourself seven times in the Jordan and your flesh is going to be cleansed.” Now the Jordan river back then, I’m sure it’s beautiful now, it was smelly. Back then it was dirty, it wasn’t very clean and Naaman, he became angry. He became angry.

Ashley: I think one of the reasons he got angry is because Elisha didn’t even come to greet me himself. [crosstalk] honor and respect, and he’s like, “You know what? He didn’t even come and-“

Carlie: Well, and that’s exactly what it says. It’s says, “Naaman became angry and went away to himself. ‘Surely he could have come out and stood and called in the name of the Lord for me and waved his hand over the infected area and taken away the leprosy.'” He was offended because Elisha didn’t honor him in his position. He didn’t respect him. He was disrespected.

Ashley: Right, he didn’t respect him. And also, Naaman… This is another way offense can come. Offense can come when you have an unmet expectation. A lot of times you have an un-communicated expectation that’s unmet. Naaman was expecting Elisha to come out, “I’m Naaman, he should respect me.” And he was expecting Elisha to come out, greet him and do these things and that was an unmet expectation.

Carlie: Exactly. He even says, “I know Abana and Pharphar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel. Could I not go and wash in one of those and be clean?” And he turned and he went away in a rage. His offense from being disrespected and have an unmet, un-communicated expectation, turned to anger and he almost missed out on his miracle. It took the servant to run after him and talk sense into him and for Naaman and to repent and go back and follow the instructions of the prophet in order to receive.

I want to encourage you, if you found yourself falling into a trap of offense a day, follow the example of Naaman, be quick to repent. “Lord, forgive me. I have found myself in a trap of offense. I repent for this offense and I decide right now to walk in truth and to walk in love towards whoever is that’s offended me.” When we are quick to repent, we invite the power of God into that situation that will bring freedom from offense in your life and deliver you from the bait of Satan, from the trap of offense and cause the blessing of God to flow uninhibited in your life. Amen, that’s powerful.

Ashley: Amen. It really is. So, if anything we said today has spoken to you and you think, “Yeah, I’m offended at this person, offended at that person.” You know what to do, repent. Say, “Lord, I’m sorry for being offended.” And then start blessing that person. Forgive them. Start blessing them, whether they deserve it or not and get that offense out of your heart. Let’s pray for people. Father God, right now, I thank you all for everyone watching and listening. I thank you, Lord. You’ve given us the power, you’ve given us the ability to forgive and to overcome offense a lot. And, Lord, right now, anyone were offended at, we repent and Lord we set that person free and we bless that person and we say, we’re not going to be offended anymore, we choose not to be offended.”

Carlie: We shut the door on offense right now.

Ashley: Amen. We close the door on offense right now. We choose not to be offended and we choose to bless and go after you Lord and go after your promises.

Carlie: Choose to walk in love.

Ashley: Amen. We choose today to walk in love. And I thank you Lord, people who are receiving their healing right now, receiving their breakthrough right now, as they decide to repent for this offense in Jesus name.

Carlie: Amen.

Ashley: Praise God. Well, thanks for joining us. We’ll be back real soon, but until next time, remember, don’t just settle for living a normal life. Go out and live the abundant life. We’ll see you soon.
